Birth Chart
A map of the sky at birth: Vedic D1 Kundli and Western natal chart from date, time, and place.
Inner Light is a quiet reference for Vedic and Western astrology and for numerology. Enter a birth, a place, a name, or a date, and the page returns the actual calculation — a Kundli and natal chart, the five limbs of a Panchang, Choghadiya watches, a numerology profile, or a comparison of two charts — with enough context to read the result where you are.
A map of the sky at birth: Vedic D1 Kundli and Western natal chart from date, time, and place.
The Navamsha chart from the same kundli: sign-only D9 placements, with the D1 Kundli for comparison.
A tropical natal wheel — signs, houses from the rising sign, and the major aspects.
The five limbs of the day for a date and place, with sunrise and the day’s muhurta windows.
Eight daytime and eight nighttime watches, named and timed from local sunrise and sunset.
Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge, and the rest of a name-and-date profile, Pythagorean or Chaldean.
Two charts compared: major aspects, Ashta Koota from the Moons, and both D1 Kundlis.
The 120-year planetary periods from the natal Moon: Mahadasha, Antardasha, and Pratyantardasha.
Planetary positions come from astronomical ephemeris data for the selected date, time, and location. Vedic charts use the Lahiri ayanamsha when that option is selected, so the sidereal frame matches the standard most widely used in Indian astrology. Western charts use the tropical zodiac, counted from the equinoxes.
Panchang and Choghadiya timings are local. Sunrise, sunset, and the windows counted from them belong to the coordinates you enter, not to a single national clock. Numerology uses the name and dates you submit, in either the Pythagorean or Chaldean letter system.
Traditional terms such as Lagna, Tithi, and Nakshatra are kept where they are the right names, with English beside them. The interpretive notes on each page describe how those systems have been read; they are not laboratory claims, and they are not a substitute for the chart in front of you.
