Birth day and Life Path
Birth-day number (Mulank) is the calendar day reduced, with 11 and 22 kept when they appear. Life Path (Bhagyank) is the digit sum of the full birth date. In the Pythagorean setting used here, 11, 22, and 33 are kept when they appear. Neither number changes when you switch letter systems, because they are not taken from the name.
Destiny, Soul Urge, and Personality
Destiny (Expression) is the sum of every letter in the name. Soul Urge is the vowels. Personality is the consonants. Destiny is how the name is expressed, Soul Urge is inner motivation, and Personality is the outer impression. Pythagorean letters run 1–9; Cheiro’s Chaldean chart runs 1–8 and reduces name numbers to a single digit.

Maturity is Life Path plus Destiny, then reduced — the tone of later life. Karmic lessons are the digits 1–9 missing from the name’s Pythagorean letter values. Hidden passion is the letter value that occurs most often. The four pinnacles are periods of life counted from the birth date, each with its own number. The four challenges use the same month, day, and year pairs as absolute differences; 0 is a real result.
Personal year, month, and day
Personal Year is built from the birth month and day plus the target year. Personal Month nests inside that year; Personal Day inside that month. They describe the current calendar cycle sitting on top of Life Path, not a second birth number.
The Lo Shu grid
The Lo Shu is the traditional 3×3 square whose rows, columns, and diagonals sum to 15: 4 9 2 / 3 5 7 / 8 1 6. The birth date does not rearrange those digits. It only counts how often each of 1–9 appears in the day, month, and year. A filled cell repeats the palace digit once for each hit (so two 4s show as 4, 4). Empty cells are digits the date never uses. The name is not part of this grid.
